On 7 March, Eiffage Kier hosted an event with The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) to demonstrate to industry leaders how HS2 is improving inclusion and diversity and providing sustainable employment within the construction sector.
Through a series of short presentations, David Lowery, David Perry and Sarah McKee illustrated how working collaboratively on Europe’s largest infrastructure project will harness benefits to be felt for generations to come.
Organiser of the event, Utilities Manager Neil Rudge, said: "Eiffage Kier and HS2 were proud to present our excellent work developing the workforce of the future and the lasting economic benefits that both ourselves and our client are delivering.
"We targeted the Chartered Institute of Building as the first body to engage with professionals in the built environment to raise awareness of the benefits of working with EK, with further professional bodies being targeted going forward to further enhance our world class delivery structure."
